In January of 2018, Entheos Audiology Cooperative traveled to Mozambique, Africa to provide hearing care for those in need. The Oticon Hearing Foundation donated hearing instruments for the humanitarian mission. One recipient, Paolo, who suffers from a moderate to profound hearing loss and was lagging behind in school, received two Oticon Sensei hearing aids, which his mother notes will make a difference in his life.
“He never had the opportunity to go to a clinic to see a doctor. We didn’t have the ability to buy hearing aids. He’s three years behind in school, but now he can listen to his professor and get good marks. “
