VERY BUSY DAY!!! We visited 6 preschools today and tested over 100 children! We were greeted at each preschool by the excited children. The schools had various conditions; some of with dirt floors and some with linoleum floors, several of them had educational pictures on the wall. Our testing conditions varied; sometimes we were able to complete everything inside the classrooms with little tables and chairs and sometimes we were on the floor. A few times we had to perform otoscopy outside on tires on playgrounds! We had a very productive day and enjoyed interacting with the kids! When we got back to the town of Parys we stopped for a quick stop at an internet café for people to be able to contact family and friends as our internet has not been working well at the farm we have been staying at. We then went back to the farm we are staying at and enjoyed a nice steak dinner that Dr. Clark prepared for us and we shared stories of why we decided to enter the field of audiology. Later that night we made smores, compliments of team member, Kelli! It was a fun way to end a great day!
