Ellen Avoletta is a third year Doctor of Audiology student at Illinois State University. She has an interest in pediatric audiology, and has recently earned a Listening and Spoken Language Graduate Certificate through the School of Deaf Education at ISU as a part of the pediatric audiology specialty track. Ellen is actively involved in humanitarian outreach in her community through the Special Olympics Healthy Hearing initiative and ISU’s Student Academy of Audiology. She is extremely excited to take her passion for audiology and humanitarian outreach to Brazil.
